There's nothing quite like personal coaching, especially when it comes to younger golfers, making sure they are getting it right from an early stage. Our team of expert PGA qualified professionals really enjoy teaching children and young adults and ensure they are there to help you play your best golf.

Group
The Junior Golf Passport is the national learning programme for young people in England, Scotland, Wales. It includes a series of achievable targets and teaches children about the rules and etiquette of golf. The emphasis is on having fun while learning. It is a comprehensive, progressive, structured programme designed to help young people learn about playing the game of golf. The programme encourages and motivates beginners through the achievement of attainment targets combined with rewards and the most important element – FUN!
The passport provides each child with a record of achievement as they develop their skills and knowledge.
How does it work?
The programme covers the five core elements of the game: Putting, Short Game, Long Game, Playing and the Golfers Code. For each of these levels there are a series of targets that get progressively more challenging.

Ramsdale Park Golf Centre has teamed up with Nottingham City Schools Sports Partnership to give children the opportunity to get into golf.Teaching PGA professional Tom Wilson delivers the sessions, which follows a similar structure to the Golf Foundation’s Junior Passport Scheme (above), used for junior coaching at Ramsdale Park, and includes a series of achievable targets about the rules and etiquette of golf. It is a comprehensive, progressive, structured programme, designed to help young people learn about playing the game of golf. Schools to have taken part in the programme at Ramsdale Park, part of Burhill Golf & Leisure, the UK’s leading golf course owner and operator, include Haddon Park School, Bilborough and most recently Fernwood.

Birthday Parties
At Ramsdale we offer parties to suit all ages and abilities from 3 years upwards. Your session will be fully supervised by a trained golf instructor and can be tailored to include putting competitions, driving range tuition, chipping and putting, trick shot demonstrations and long shot competitions.Prices start from as little as £150 for 1 hours coaching and a party afterwards including a birthday tea for up to 10 children.
